Copperband Butterflyfish

Chelmon rostratus

Habitat

It occupies coral reefs and rocky shorelines at depths of roughly 1 to 25 metres, and also turns up in estuaries and murky inner-reef areas. Individuals are seen alone or in pairs, often holding a territory, and breeding adults form monogamous, egg-laying partnerships.
