Caesio suevica
The Suez fusilier (Caesio suevica) is a marine ray-finned fish in the fusilier family Caesionidae. It is found nowhere else in the world but the Red Sea, where it is endemic.

Habitat
Caesio suevica is restricted to the Red Sea; reports from elsewhere in the Indian Ocean are most likely the result of mistaken identification. It favours coastal waters, particularly coral reefs, at depths ranging from roughly 2 to 25 m.
Behaviour
Suez fusiliers gather in large groups that hang in open midwater. They reproduce by spawning, with females releasing numerous small floating eggs. Their diet centres on zooplankton, especially comb jellies and other gelatinous plankton.
