Habitat
Hawksbill sea turtles range widely, occurring mainly in the tropical reefs of the Indian, Pacific, and Atlantic Oceans. Of all the sea turtles, this is the species most tied to warm, tropical waters. Two major subpopulations are recognised, one in the Atlantic and one in the Indo-Pacific.
